As a Founder Associate, you will work on assisting the founders, dealing with day to day office activities and working with external stakeholders. As we are a start-up, there will be significant opportunity to shape the role and the wider company as activities progress. Start-up work can be extremely challenging, uncertain and hard to predict, but also extremely rewarding as you look to build something new alongside other highly skilled and motivated people at a rapid pace.
Your Responsibilities:
• Assist the founders and executive team with developing and implementing strategic initiatives, conducting research and preparing for meetings with external stakeholders.
• Manage the founder(s)'s calendar, including scheduling meetings, organizing travel, and handling correspondence to ensure efficient use of their time.
• Assist with the day-to-day operations of the company, potentially including HR tasks, financial planning, and liaising with external partners and suppliers.
• Act as a liaison between the founder(s) and internal teams, facilitating clear and effective communication to ensure alignment across the organisation.
• Office management in the form of facilities, vendors, space organisation, coordination of utilities and services as well as supporting health, safety and security of the office.
Background and qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in similar role, preferably in a start-up or fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with a proven ability to handle
multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable interacting with a variety of
stakeholders.
• High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
• Strong desire to work in a startup environment with a hands on approach and can do attitude.
